Positive: First off staff were very friendly and helpful but have a translation app handy if you need to communicate. We had no problems and were able to communicate well. The hotel has an automated check-in terminal with English options. Also in the room they have an information service on their TV with english options and some movies to watch in English and Japanese. The room itself was clean and very comfortable with some free amenities. There was a fridge there but be sure to flip the switch to turn it on. Location for the hotel is very convenient with lots of shops and tourist attractions a short distance away. Also to note is that the hotel offers a luggage storage service in case you need to leave luggage with them if you should arrive early or want to sight see on the day you check out. If checking in a lot of luggage I would play it safe and let the staff know in advance if you intend to use the service and if it's ok.

Negative: Only issue I had was there wasn't any instructions on using the aircon. I don't know if it wasn't turned on or I made a mistake in the settings but it wouldn't work for some time and I thought I went through everything. Eventually it did come on later in the night either because I hit the right setting or the hotel activated it but clear instructions would be great. If it then didn't work I would know to go to the front desk . My advice would be to try get it working right after you check in so if you have any problems you'll have time to go to the front desk and ask them for help.
